Revisited edition of CRUZ DE MARTA, a horror short film written and directed by Paola Perea, shot in 2012.
I always wanted to revisit this footage from the Cruz de Marta short film I shot back in the day with some friends in Puerto Rico. The story is basically the same as the original release in which I did't work as editor. For this new version I opted to omit the dialogues and re-edit it completely so that that footage fits Brahams Hungarian Dance in it's entirety. No any other sound is added so it can be considered a classic music video, I guess.

I found Neil stuck to a tree while I was visiting 'El Yunque' rainforest. I took it with me and feed it for one or two weeks in my dorm while I shot this video. Then a friend of mine who was going back to the rainforest took it back to his habitat. I wonder where is it now.

The only rule the teacher gave us this time was that it had to be one continuous shot. No cuts. We were the same group that did the Scape video a few weeks ago so we decided to relate this new one to the old in a certain way. Thanks must be given to all the friends that featured on it for helping us, specially to the two main actors.
My friend Luis Mesejo called me one afternoon asking for help in creating a bunch of videos for Sweet Life Society so I help him out making one of them. I did the video the day the iPhone 4 was presented and as I was watching Job's key note, I came up with the idea of using the factory footage featured on it. When you use quality footage the quality stands out.

Architecture School of Madrid, October 2002
Music video created for a class in Madrid Architecture School. It was presented to a student video contest in VHS format and later included in the DVD DAI 1 2003 OBESIÓN LUZ published by Instituto Juan de Herrera.
To make this video I used the footage recorded by Ricardo Santonja in the architecture school drawing classes. I digitally altered the images to produce the burned black and white style and I accompanied them with the fabulous soundtrack from Katsuhiro Otomo's AKIRA film composed by Shoji Yamashiro. The video pretends to be a dialogue between this piece of music that I love and this bunch of reused footage.
